Job Description: This position reports to the Manager of the Mental health and addictions services and is a member of the Mental Health Supervisor/Management team. The incumbent has direct responsibility for the recruitment selection, orientation, and education and standardization of the residential service applicant process and recommends certification and decertification to Saskatchewan Health. The Supervisor is responsible for continuous development and maintenance of policies and procedures, which regulate and improve the quality of service delivery. The Supervisor is responsible for program planning and evaluation, development of evaluation tools and decisions regarding outcome. Planning and evaluation is designed to promote and achieve positive outcomes.

Experience
- Experience in Health Care Management
- Minimum five years of experience in the area of mental health/addiction services
- 2 years supervisory experience in a clinical setting
Education
- Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing
Knowledge and Abilities
- Demonstrated supervisory skills and application of judgment
- Knowledge in budgetary process
- Commitment to a diverse, culturally competent, culturally safe work environment
- Knowledge in developing policies, procedures and standards
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills
