Job Description: Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the Nurse B will be responsible for the day to day operations and resident flow of the long term care facility. The incumbent will facilitate the encouragement of critical thinking skills of the nursing staff as they are fostered to work to their full scope of practice. Maintains high quality resident care through assessment of residents, families and staff, planning for future needs; implementation of developed programs; and evaluation of the departments services.

Experience

  • Previous education and or experience in coordinating activities and personnel
  • Minimum of three (3) years relevant long term care nursing experience

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
