Job Description: The Clinical Resource Nurse is responsible for promoting the Mission, Vision and Values of the Saskatchewan Health Authority through the provision of safe quality nursing care to clients. The Clinical Resource Nurse educates mentors and supports unit staff, promotes patient safety, occupational health and safety and quality improvement on the unit. The Clinical Resource Nurse is an experienced nurse who is responsible for Surgical, Outpatient Day Surgery, CAPP, AMS, Endoscopy, Operating Room and Post Anesthetic Care nursing education and other areas that are deemed necessary directed by the Nurse Manager of Surgery. The Clinical Resource Nurse will remain competent with ongoing Professional Development and Continuing Education.

Experience
- Minimum of three to five years working in an acute care setting
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Perioperative Nursing/Registered Nurses advanced certificate
Other Education and Training
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS)
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
