Job Description: The registered nurse is a competent clinical practitioner assisting individuals, groups and families with health-care needs ranging from uncomplicated to complex and rapidly changing status. As a professional the general duty nurse demonstrates a caring approach, including an understanding of the nursing process, a conceptual model for practice and SHR philosophy, objectives and standards.
