Job Description: Reporting to the Director of Care, the Manager- Resident Support & Volunteer Services (MRSVS) is responsible to assess, plan, implement and evaluate an ongoing comprehensive Resident Support and Volunteer program in accordance with established goals and policies within the Mission, Vision, and values of Emmanuel Health and Providence Place (PP). This manager will continuously foster an environment to ensure resident-centered, safe, effective quality care is embedded into daily operations of PP. The MRSVS will create engaging environments where staff, residents, volunteers, and families have opportunity to contribute and ensure collaborative care planning and care delivery. The incumbent is responsible for Recreation, Spiritual Care, and Volunteer Services. The Quality-of-life needs of the resident and clients must be addressed by providing high quality services. Effectiveness of the programming is evaluated on a continuous basis.
