Job Description: Grounded in the mission, vision, and values of Emmanuel Health, the Lead, Emergency Preparedness and Facilities Coordination plays an essential role in advancing the safe, sustainable, and effective operations of St. Paul’s Hospital (Grey Nuns). This position provides leadership in hospital emergency preparedness and incident response, supports occupational health initiatives, manages leased clinical and community spaces within the facility, coordinates minor infrastructure projects related to space set-up and utilization, and supports onboarding of new employees and tenants. Additionally, the Lead oversees hospital-affiliated community properties and tenancy relationships, ensuring that leased spaces and partnerships align with the mission and growth strategy of St. Paul’s Hospital. This includes managing tenancy agreements, cultivating positive relationships with external property managers, and supporting the strategic expansion of clinical services in community-based settings.

Experience
- 3-5 years in a healthcare setting with experience in operational coordination, emergency preparedness, or facilities/project support
- Demonstrated experience working with interdisciplinary teams and/or managing community relationships
Education
- Formal education (diploma or bachelor’s degree) in health administration, business, property management, or related field
- Incident Command System (ICS 100 and 200 or equivalent) (or willingness to obtain); advanced ICS training considered an asset

Knowledge & Abilities
- Knowledge of provincial healthcare standards, occupational health practices, requirements of the landlord and facility safety regulations

- Demonstrated alignment with the mission, values, and ethical standards of Catholic health care
- Ability to work with with interdisciplinary teams and/or managing community relationships
Additional Information
- This is an on-site role at St. Paul’s Hospital, with occasional off-site travel required
- May be required to support extended hours during emergencies or major initiatives
- Light physical duties may be required for workspace set-up or minor project oversight
