Job Description: The Health Educator - Staff, reporting to the Manager, is responsible for assessing, coordinating, and delivering oral health prevention and promotion activities in the community. The Health Educator - Staff provides programs to children, pre-postnatal groups, senior populations, and others with all abilities. This position is an integral part of the Primary Health Care umbrella and works to promote oral health and provide consultation and information to communities, individuals, and others in the community.

Education
- Graduate from a recognized Dental Therapy program
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
Other Education and Training
- Graduate from a recognized Dental Hygenist program is also acceptable

- Able to research, develop, & deliver health presentations to a variety of groups
- Ability to conduct client assessments and engage in effective treatment planning
- Ability to diagnose dental decay/abscesses and identify oral abnormalities
