Job Description: Under the direction of the Manager and the supervision of the Medical Geneticist(s), the Genetics Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the coordination of the Genetics program including screening and accepting patient referrals, preparation and follow up of families for genetic assessment; and liaison with other related fields and professionals as a member of the genetics team.

Experience

• One Year (1) Experience in Genetics 

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in a related Health Science or Social Science discipline

• Current knowledge of genetics
• Knowledge in clinical genetics, molecular biology & genomic technologies

• Ability to collect, record, report comprehensive client information accurately
