Job Description: Reporting to the Manager or designate for the area of province they are working, the Emergency Medical Services - EMT/PCP responds to emergency and non-emergency events, and provides assessment, treatment and transportation of the ill or injured persons consistent with The Saskatchewan Ambulance Act and Regulations; Saskatchewan College of Paramedics (SCoP) Clinical Practice Protocols; The Paramedics Act and bylaws; and Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) policies, procedures and work standards.

Education
- Primary Care Paramedic Certificate from an approved educational institute
Licenses
- Valid Class 4 driver's license
Other Education and Training
- International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS)
- Current Basic Life Support-Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation(BLS-CPR) certification

- Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at PCP/EMT level
- Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period.
