Job Description: The EES Project Manager Specialists will consult and engage with senior leadership to provide planning and project management services across SHA, with a strong focus on sustainability and environmental compliance. These services include scope development, feasibility, estimating/budgeting, risk analysis, scheduling, drawing production, code reviews, infection control requirements, staging, commissioning, project reporting, approvals processes, and financial management/financial tracking-specifically for sustainability-related initiatives and environmental projects. They will focus on incorporating environmentally sustainable designs, materials, and energy-efficient solutions, in addition to ensuring compliance with environmental regulations at the municipal, provincial, and federal levels. The specialists ensure that departmental service delivery objectives, as defined by standards or the business case, concerning space, spatial relationships, equipment, furnishings, and environmental impact, are integrated into the functional programming and design process. They are responsible for ensuring that the requirements of user groups related to sustainability and environmental impact are translated into working drawings, and they will explain preliminary drawings and specifications to user groups. The specialists serve as the critical communication link between management, physicians, user groups, and staff for provincial project teams, ensuring that sustainability and environmental goals are maintained. They are the lead on various construction projects, representing the owner on the job site and inspections.

Experience
- 3 - 5 years’ experience at a consultant level who has developed and led innovative projects.
Education
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Facilities Engineering Technology, PMP, Commerce or Political Studies.
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
Other Education and Training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
