Job Description: The Director of Care (DOC) is a key leader at the Radville Marian Health Centre (RMHC). Reporting to the Executive Director (ED), the DOC is responsible for the provision of high quality care in the Medical Unit, ER, LTC, Lab, Diagnostic Imaging, Food Services, Maintenance and Housekeeping within the Mission, Vision and Values of RMHC and Emmanuel Health Inc. (EH). The DOC demonstrates strong leadership to enable an innovative and positive working climate and a client-centric culture. The Director must work inter-departmentally / cross functionally within the organization and with community partners to support holistic spiritual, psychosocial, physical and emotional well being of patients, residents and clients.

Experience

• Leadership experience in a health care setting
• Minimum 3 to 5 years experience working acute and long term care.

Education

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing, Master level preferred
