Job Description: The Patient and Family Centered Care (PFCC) Coordinator works closely with the Director and PFCC Specialist in providing guidance and support on PFCC and patient engagement activities that align with the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) strategic initiatives and continuous improvement activities. The Coordinator supports and works closely with Patient Family Advisors, leaders, all departments and operation leads and managers to plan, develop and implement successful PFCC strategies including patient engagement throughout the SHA. The PFCC Coordinator provides education around the expectations and behaviors that define PFCC, and facilitates the supports needed to achieve measurable results in PFCC. The Coordinator will foster existing partnerships, develop new partnerships and work closely with system and community partners. The position is required to work collaboratively with leaders, physicians, and staff within the SHA and must lead through influence rather than authority. This position requires the ability to support all aspects of the work with limited supervision and to be able to manage an extremely busy work schedule as well as work with numerous competing priorities.
