Job Description: The Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) is a clinical practitioner who integrates experience, skills, and knowledge from the nursing theory in the provision of direct patient/resident care, assessment of needs, clinical problem solving, and patient/resident and student/staff education. The CNL will contribute to the development of knowledge and the improvement of practice for an identified client population (ie Acute Care, ER, LTC).

Experience
- 3 to 5 years exp. in the area of psychiatric and/or general nursing practice
- Experience in a community rural setting
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Licenses
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)
Other Education and Training
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
