Job Description: The WPES Associate is responsible for performing key functions within the Human Resources portfolio, including providing support to programming and initiatives within the Workforce Planning and Employment Strategies portfolio. The associate is responsible for supporting Specialists with the development, coordination and delivery of programming and initiatives, performing best practice research and evaluation, sourcing candidates for hard to recruit classifications, maintaining key internal databases and work standards and any other functions required to support the portfolio. In some areas of the province, these roles support affiliate organization employment related functions. The Associate demonstrates strong leadership to enable an innovative and positive working climate and a client-centric culture. The Associate must work cross functionally within the portfolio and across the organization to support operations.

Experience
- 1+ years experience in Human Resources
Education
- Human Resources diploma
- Business Administration diploma (DBA)
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license

- Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
- Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
