Job Description:  The administrative Assistant plays a vital role in the efficient operation of the Administration Office including responsibility to ensure all administrative functions are completed in an accurate, timely and confidential manner.  Involves working in a fast paced environment, dealing with ongoing discharges/admissions and new hires.  Provides administrative support to all team members/departments, employees, residents and families on a daily basis.  Provides payroll and finance duties as assigned.  Produces letters, memos, policies/procedures, creates forms, coordinates meetings, performs photocopying and filing duties. Ensures that all inquires, complaints and concerns are directed to the appropriate person/department.  Performs receptionist duties such as answering the phone, taking messages, transferring calls, paging appropriate personnel.  Ensures the office/facility has the necessary tools required for operations (ie. paper, office supplies).

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience working in a senior administrative assistant-type role

Education

  • Completion of Grade 12 supplemented by a recognized business course
