We are searching for a sharp, detail‑driven industrial designer to fuel our design department in the furniture hardware sector. In this key role, you’ll turn ideas into real products — driving projects from first sketch to full launch and ensuring every phase is executed with precision, creativity, and momentum. JOB DESCRIPTION
Main responsibilities
To develop and refine product concepts that balance functionality, aesthetics, and manufacturability, ensuring designs meet customer needs, align with business goals, and can be efficiently produced. With a focus on major accounts and project management.
Tasks description
- Leads end‑to‑end projects for major accounts, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and communication stay tight from kickoff to launch.
- Acts as the primary design liaison for key customers, translating needs into actionable design requirements.
- Drives full product‑cycle collaboration, contributing to concept development, prototyping, validation, and final launch.
- Develops detailed component plans using structured design processes tailored to specialized furniture hardware.
- Generates 3D models and renderings to support decision‑making for clients, internal teams, and production partners.
- Produces precise technical drawings for fabrication, assembly, installation, presentations, and certification packages.
- Ensures strict compliance with quality‑control protocols, standards, and regulations across all assigned projects.
- Coordinates with manufacturing partners to resolve production challenges and maintain schedule integrity.
- Champions component standardization to streamline development, reduce complexity, and improve efficiency.
- Designs packaging solutions and creates clear, client‑ready instructions that elevate usability and reinforce brand value.
- Delivers graphic assets for presentations, marketing materials, and web content to strengthen brand identity.
- Builds and maintains a robust parts library aligned with company standards, major‑account requirements, and project‑specific needs.

Qualifications required
- Undergraduate / College diploma in the Industrial Design or related field.
- French and English, spoken and written.
- Experience with metal components an asset
