Sr. Financial Analyst

1. Responsible for weekly review of accounts payables (excluding items initiated through the Investigator Fee system) 
2. Review and analyses of financial information for assigned projects 
3. Review and analyses of operational financial data for the Institute 
4. Ensure that fixed costs are recovered appropriately, and overheads are recovered and coded appropriately and other related journal entries are prepared as required 
5. Preparation of project budgets and re-forecasting for Granting Agencies and Pharmaceutical Sponsors 
6. Review of guidelines provided by agency/sponsor, and incorporate project details provided by project manager, and/or, Principal Investigator 
7. Assist with queries from project team, NC’s, or sponsor affiliates with respect to approval of meeting budgets or other budget related items as applicable 
8. Create, or assist in the preparation of, financial reports for internal needs, granting agencies and/or pharmaceutical sponsors 
9. Provide assistance in the development of policies and procedures relating to the PHRI Finance department; 
10. Provide assistance with process documentation and provide input on process improvements around activities being involved in; 
11. Respond to queries from Project PI’s related to any activity 
12. Liaise with granting agencies or sponsors as required with supervision 
13. Work with internal/external auditors to provide adequate documentation for audit purposes.
