Sr Prosthetics/Orthotics Clin

The senior clinician monitors/coordinates the workflow within the P&O department and is responsible for staff supervision, scheduling and promotion of staff occupational health and safety. The senior Clinician is the first line repose to conflict resolution for staff or patient service complaints. The senior clinician also has a clinical role to provide treatment to patients with physical conditions.

1. Demonstrated leadership experience
2.Certification in Orthotics and in good standing with the Canadian Board for Certification of Prosthetists and Orthotists (CBCPO)
3. Currently registered or be eligible for registration as an authorizer with the Assistive Devices Program, Ontario Ministry of Health
4. Demonstrated technical and clinical skills
5. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
6. Demonstrated ability and willingness to work within a team of health care providers
7. Demonstrated ability to coordinate research projects in the department when opportunities arise
