Research Compliance and Support Services Specialist

Reporting to the Director of Research Compliance and Support Services, the Specialist is responsible to provide support with the development and implementation of a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) . The incumbent will perform systematic review and monitoring of QMS and clinical trial Research studies at HHSC, formulating new standards and upgrades as needed and developing training programs for HHSC-Research QMS. The Specialist will support research compliance and support services . They will support the systems continuous quality improvement and contribute to the growth and efficiency of the Research enterprise at HHS.

The incumbent will work collaboratively with the Principal Investigators, Research Stakeholders, as well as the HHS clinical departments and service providers, to provide support to research teams, managing day to day issues related to quality and compliance.

The Research Compliance and Support Service Specialist communicates with all levels of staff and researchers across the HHS Research Enterprise to facilitate, consult and share information related to research support services.

1. Undergraduate Degree: Sciences, Health Sciences or Health Studies Clinical Trial Regulation and Guidelines Experience and knowledge Over 5 years of experience in the following areas:

2. Clinical Trial Management.

3. Supervising Research Staff.

4. Quality Assurance and Monitoring of Clinical Trials.
