Research Compliance and Support Services Specialist

Reporting to the Manager of Research Compliance and Support Services, the Specialist is responsible to provide support with the development and implementation of a comprehensive quality assurance audit program. The incumbent will perform systematic monitoring of clinical trail Research studies at HHSC, formulating new standard operating procedures and developing training programs for HHSC-Research. The Specialist will support the management of research support services . They will help supervise the reporting structure and management of research staff as a delegate and contribute to the growth and efficiency of the Research enterprise at HHS. 

The incumbent will work collaboratively with the Principal Investigators, as well as the HHS Human Resources Business Partner, to provide support to research teams, managing day to day issues related to staffing. 

The Research Compliance and Support Service Specialist communicates with all levels of staff and researchers across the HHS Research Enterprise to facilitate, consult and share information related to research support services. 

1. Undergraduate Degree: Sciences, Health Sciences or Health Studies 
2. Clinical Trial Regulation and Guidelines Experience and knowledge 
3. Over 5 years of experience in the following areas: 
4. Clinical Trial Management. 
5. Supervising Research Staff. 
6. Quality Assurance and Monitoring of Clinical Trials.
