Description
Reporting to the Manager of Research Compliance and Support Services, the Specialist is responsible to provide support with the development and implementation of a comprehensive research, institutional systems based compliance program. The incumbent will perform systematic review and monitoring of research systems and studies at HHSC, ensuring adherence to institutional policies and guidelines as well as formulating new standard operating procedures and developing training programs for HHS Research. The Specialist will support the management of the research support services pool. They will help supervise the reporting structure and management of research staff as a delegate and contribute to the growth and efficiency of the Research enterprise at HHS.
Undergraduate Degree: Sciences, Health Sciences or Health Studies
Experience and knowledge of Clinical Trial Regulation and Guidelines
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the following areas:
-Clinical Trial Management.
-Supervising Research Staff.
-Quality Assurance and Monitoring of Clinical Trials.
Assets:
Experience with electronic medical record systems (e.g. Epic)
Experience with REDCap
