Research Associate

Dual reporting to Research Manager, EN Clinical Manager Compliance and Support Services and HHSC affiliated Research Investigator (EN Clinical Director) or McMaster University Faculty member. Research Associate would be responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing a large, multi-site, multi-disciplinary research program, with the potential to compose, lead, and conduct research as an independent investigator or as a co-investigator within HHSC Research. Research Associate will develop collaborations and partnerships with research user groups to help shape research directions and ensure effective research transfer.

1. Doctoral degree in a relevant field of study.

2. Requires 7 years of relevant experience.

3. Recent research experience and proven track record in managing and delivering high profile projects.

4. Knowledge of child and youth mental health would be beneficial.

5. Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of quantitative and qualitative methods of analysis, various research methodologies, project evaluation and evaluation methodology.

6. Demonstrated ability to function as a self-directed employee.

7. Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills essential to working in a family centered care environment.

8. Commitment to continuing education in child and youth mental health.
