Physiotherapist

As a member of the health care team, the Physiotherapist coordinates, assesses and evaluates patient care and
provides physiotherapy care to meet the needs of patients in the ICU and CICU. The Physiotherapist collaborates with
interdisciplinary team members and community agencies in the provision of care and discharge planning for patients and
their families. The Physiotherapist will provide the weekend coverage support for the Juravinski site and for the critical
care units

1. Current Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
2. Current knowledge and experience in the management of medical patients
3. Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
4. Demonstrated ability to work independently collaborating with an interdisciplinary health care team
5. Current Heart and Stroke Foundation course in CPR or equivalent preferred
6. EPIC hospital information system experience preferred
