Description
Hamilton General Emergency Department supports adult trauma, burns, cardiology and cardiovascular programs. Emergency Department wait time is identified as an important HHS quality of care indicator that aligns with organizational goals to achieve a more seamless healthcare system. In-patient services are provided via consults and out-patient services are provided through established out-patient clinics. Collaboration with clinical partners in multi-disciplinary care is an important part of the clinical care provided by the Emergency Department.
The Physician Assistants at Hamilton Health Sciences have been certified and the successful candidate will become a
member of the Ontario Physician Assistant Association (OPAA) pending the outcome of the negotiation of a first collective
agreement.
