Description
The Physician Assistant will work under the direct supervision of the Neurosurgeon, and play a major role in facilitating consistent application of clinical protocols and continuity of care, utilizing the principles of evidence based practice. The MCH Neurosurgery team utilizes a multidisciplinary and collaborative team approach to patient care. The Physician Assistant will work in partnership with Neurosurgeons, consultants, nursing and other members of the health care team to provide comprehensive medical assessment, management and education. This role will support the clinical activity of Pediatric Neurosurgery, the associated patient care and interventions of the Pediatric Neurosurgery service.
