Salary:

$21.19 per hour (as per the Collective Agreement)

We are inviting applications for casual, on-call clerical opportunities. Daily/weekly hours are subject to change based on the needs of the Board.

Job Summary

To support Schools and the Catholic Education Centre Administration Office by providing clerical support for the efficient daily operation of the applicable school or department. This position provides assistance to staff and the general public as required.

Successful applicants will be required to assist throughout the Halton Region.

Qualifications / Experience

Excellent working knowledge of computers (Microsoft Word/Windows and other appropriate software packages).

Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.

Minimum six (6) months clerical experience required. School Board experience is an asset.

Capacity to engage members of diverse communities and skilled in a variety of consultation techniques, protocols and strategies.

This position is covered by the C.U.P.E Local 3166.00 Collective Agreement.

Please be advised as a condition of employment with the Board, candidates will be required to provide the following documentation upon hire:

an original Criminal Reference Check including Vulnerable Sector Screening, dated within the last six (6) months
