Description
In the role of Inspector, your primary mandate will be to ensure the inspection and compliance of control panels manufactured on-site. More precisely, you will have to :
- Read and interpret electrical drawings;
- Inspect control panels and power panels according to established criteria, standards, and specifications;
- Ensure that electrical control panels comply with design plans;
- Perform live voltage testing;
- Complete inspection reports;
- Attend certification meetings;
- Provide support to production for equipment assembly and wiring;
- Keep knowledge up to date regarding codes and standards;
- Correct deficiencies or errors when necessary;
- Comply with occupational health and safety standards;
- Perform any other related tasks as required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Hold a college diploma or a vocational diploma in electromechanics, electricity, industrial electronics, or any other equivalent training;
- 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar position;
- Knowledge of CSA and UL standards (an asset);
- Demonstrate strong organizational abilities;
- Display attention to details;
- Operate independently while ensuring rigorous alignment with company goals.
