We are currently seeking skilled and experienced individuals to join our team as Painters at our residential properties located in:

  • Montreal
  • St Leonard
  • Côte Saint-Luc
  • Hampstead
  • Côte-Des-Neiges-NDG
  • Ville St-Laurent

The successful candidates will be responsible for enhancing the appearance of our properties through professional painting services, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. The Painters will perform a variety of painting duties, including but not limited to surface preparation, paint application, finishing touches, specialized techniques, and cleanup and maintenance tasks as required by property managers. They will work closely with the property management and capital projects teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Assessing painting requirements and establish timelines and budgets for each project to report back to the team.
  • Performing interior and exterior painting projects efficiently, within established timelines and budgets, while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Collaborating with property managers, maintenance teams, and capital projects team to coordinate painting projects effectively.
  • Following safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Ensuring cleanliness and order of the job site before and after the project.
  • Preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as needed.
  • Safeguarding fixtures, floors, and surrounding areas from paint splatters and spills.
  • Putting together requests for paints, tools, and equipment required to complete projects, for management approval to purchase.
  • Selecting and mixing paints to match property specifications and color schemes.
  • Applying paint, varnish, stain, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
  • Repairing and restoring damaged areas to maintain surface integrity.
  • Performing any other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in painting residential or commercial properties, with a portfolio of previous painting to showcase skills and experience.
  • Proficiency in surface preparation and application of various paints and finishes.
  • Knowledge of painting tools, equipment, and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

Working Conditions:

  • This position involves regular exposure to painting materials.
  • Physical ability is required to lift and carry painting supplies, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods while performing painting tasks. Additionally, the ability to work comfortably and safely on ladders is necessary.
  • Flexible hours may be required based on the needs of business – weekends or holidays.
