Are you a passionate and creative Senior Engineer willing to contribute to challenging projects? Would you like to be part of a team of experts eager to develop professionally and personally? Do you want to take on challenges, surpass yourself and innovate?
On a daily basis you will have to:
- Participate in project identification and design concepts (conceptual engineering, preliminary and detailed)
- Establish the design bases
- Perform calculations of mass balance and energy, process simulation, preparation of process diagrams (P & ID), hydraulic calculations and the selection and sizing of equipment and piping
- Ensure quality control of various deliverables in process projects
- Prepare equipment and instruments data sheet
- Organize interdisciplinary coordination
- Coordinate project tasks
- Monitor and control budgets and deadlines hours deliverables process projects
- Possible technical supervision of junior engineer on projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Chemical Engineering
- Member of APEGNB
- Experience in heavy industry and / or consulting engineering
- Spoken and written languages: English (French is an asset)
You are the one we are looking for if you have:
- Passion for technical work
- Relevant experience in consulting engineering
- Relevant experience in heavy industries: Refining, chemical, petrochemical
- Knowledge of software process simulation: Hysys, PipeFlo (an asset: Aspen Plus, Pro/II, Tasc, Acol)
- Excellent ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Good communication skills
- Good ability to lead a team
- Familiarity with the concepts of process safety management
