On a daily basis you will have to:
- Prepare instrumentation and control specifications.
- Produce procurement specifications.
- Participate in P&ID reviews.
- Supervise preparation of technical drawings.
- Conduct site visits and surveys.
- Contribute to the implementation of and compliance with procedures and best practices.
- Propose and implement improvements to enhance departmental efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering Diploma
- Member of APEGNB is an asset
- Experience in any industrial field is an asset
- Spoken and written languages: English (French is an asset)
You are the one we are looking for if you have:
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- The ability to quickly converge in problem solving.
- Knowledge of CAD and 3D Modeling (an asset).
- Knowledge of industrial automation (an asset).
- Knowledge of PLC programming, human-machine interfaces (HMI), distributed control systems (DCS) and safety systems (an asset).
- Knowledge of electrical circuits and power distribution (an asset).
- A keen sense of resourcefulness.
- Ability to communicate in French is an asset as you may be required to collaborate with colleagues and clients outside of Saint John.
