On a daily basis you will have to:
- Manage project budgets and target dates
- Ensure deliverables comply with client standards and requirements
- Define an engineering execution strategy based on the schedule
- Participate in the preparation of cost estimates and quotes
- Produce instrument specifications
- Supervise the preparation of technical drawings
- Participate in P&ID reviews
- Work collaboratively with the client team and other stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in automated production engineering (or equivalent)
- Member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) (Quebec order of engineers)
- 5 years and more of experience in the field
- Construction site experience (an asset)
You are the one we’re looking for if you have:
- Excellent teamwork skills
- The ability to quickly converge in problem solving
- Knowledge of industrial automation (an asset)
- Knowledge of PLC programming, human-machine interfaces (HMI), distributed control systems (DCS) and safety systems (an asset)
- Knowledge of electrical circuits and power distribution (an asset)
- A keen sense of resourcefulness
