On a daily basis you will have to:
- Lead / participate in electrical projects
- Lead / participate in multidisciplinary projects
- Production of engineer works , sign and seal.
- Design of electrical systems, mainly in heavy industry.
- Perform technical studies:
- Load flow
- Protective coordination
- Arc flash
- Prepare calculation notes, write specifications and technical reports
- Prepare designs and specifications related to the following items:
- 120 V, 600 V, 4.16 kV, 25 kV power distribution
- Power supply of various motor loads
- Heating cables
- Power generators
- Lighting
- Grounding
- Prepare engineering proposals, and estimates Client relations
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
- Member of the Professional order of Engineers of the province (APEGS)
- 0-3 years of experience in heavy industry/plant
You are the one we are looking for if you have:
- Good knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code
- Experience in consulting engineering and/or heavy industry
- Teamwork and Communication skills
- Experience in medium and/or high voltage (asset)
- Experience in building systems design (asset)
- Experience in and hazardous locations (asset)
- English required, French (Asset)
