On a daily basis you will have to:
Control documents during the engineering and construction phases according to current internal and client procedures:
  • Verify documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Classify the technical documentation according to the procedures in force
  • Retrieve files for the project team from our systems and from client systems
  • Proceed with the issuance of project documents
  • Follow up on various project files
  • Ensure the management of vendor documents in a short timeframe
  • Collaborate with the team on routine document control requests
  • Carry out project audits
  • Perform reprography and assembly work when required, including end-of-project binders
  • Archive various project files electronically and on paper
  • Perform all other related tasks that may help with the completion of projects


Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of engineering documentation control
  • Good knowledge of Windows environment and Office Suite software
  • Fluency in French and English required occasionally since the person will collaborate with colleagues and clients outside of Quebec, both written and oral.


Assets:
  • Knowledge of SharePoint, Bluebeam, Live Link, eB, BIM 360, Project Wise, ALIM, Meridian software
  • Knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard
  • Relevant experience in consulting engineering, petrochemical or manufacturing industry, mining and metals, construction company, or in an industrial technical environment
  • DEC, AEC or Certificate in document management
