We’re looking for motivated, engaged people to help make everyone’s journeys better.

• Reporting into the Manager Transport or Manager Dispatch.

• Creating schedules to manage the service delivery of catering by Drivers and Loaders and performance manage teams to ensure maximum efficiency.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Interfaces with the Customers’ schedules and airport information in real time, optimizing the allocation of workloads to the Drivers / Loaders in accordance with these requirements, safely meeting on time performance Circulates the above requirements throughout the organization as required 3. Highlights to the management team issues relating to customer schedule adherence, airside health and safety incidents and or resource allocations 4. Monitors airside activities to ensure compliance to the customers’ flight schedules, local airport rules and national guidelines

5. Acts as a point of contact between Gate Gourmet airside operations and Airport / Customer Operations Teams

6. Compliance with the regulations (Security / Country / Safety / Company Rules and Procedures)

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • High School diploma required

Work Experience:

  • Experience of managing teams ideally in the airline industry

  • Previous experience of working in a role where strong attention to detail and accuracy was essential.

  • 2+ years general work experience in an office or warehouse facility

  • 1-year experience directing the work of others

  • 1-2 years shipping/receiving experience preferred

Job Skills:

  • Detail oriented

  • Project management experience

  • Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize responsibilities and multi-task

  • Strong interpersonal skills, interact well with multiple departments as required

  • Able to work with little supervision

Language / Communication Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, interact well with multiple departments as required

  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral communication skills in English

  • Change Agent

  • Fluency in English is required. Other languages a plus.

Work Environment / Requirements of the Job: Regularly stands, bends, lifts and moves intermittently during shifts. Must be to lift, pull, push, and move products, equipment, and supplies daily. There may be physical discomfort due to temperature in production area, coolers, and freezers

Other verbiage: Normal standing, walking, reaching, lifting, kneeling, climbing of stairs and ladders, driving, and flying as a passenger on commercial airlines
