POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Garden Valley School Division invites applications for the full-time (1.0 FTE) permanent position of Middle Years Teacher at Plum Coulee School effective September 8, 2026.
Garden Valley School Division is a dynamic and thriving educational community located in the heartland of Manitoba's beautiful Pembina Valley Region. With a student population of about 4,300, the division encompasses 14 schools in the communities of Winkler, Plum Coulee, Schanzenfeld, Hochfeld, Blumenfeld, Reinland, and Blumengart.

REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Hold or be eligible to hold a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
- Prior experience teaching in a middle year's classroom is considered an asset
- Experience and/or training as a guidance counsellor would be considered an asset.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check & Child Abuse Registry Check

SCHOOL INFORMATION:
Plum Coulee School is a K-8 school with an enrolment of 250 students and approximately 30 combined professional/support staff. Along with a comprehensive intramural program, Plum Coulee School offers a broad range of extra-curricular options that include such things as soccer, volleyball, basketball, dramas, as well as many others. The school is an integral part of the beautiful town of Plum Coulee, located just 13 kms east of Winkler on Hwy 14.
