Carpenter

GAGNÉ MÉTAL is seeking a Carpenter - Joiner to join its installation team. The selected candidate will participate in the fabrication and installation of exterior wood structures such as balconies, decks, stairs, and related components, working closely with our welders and metal installers/assemblers.

• Install wooden balconies and decks according to provided plans

• Perform exterior carpentry and joinery work: assembly, cutting, fitting, and finishing

• Collaborate with metal installation teams

• Maintain a clean, safe worksite in compliance with safety standards

• Work independently while following the directions of the team leader

• Ability to read technical drawings and take precise measurements

• High school diploma or equivalent training

• Proficiency in French (required)

• Autonomous, detail-oriented, and meticulous

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team

• Professional, positive, and proactive attitude

• Full-time – Permanent – 40 hours per week

• Day shift: 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday to Friday

• Competitive compensation based on experience and in accordance with CCQ wage scale
