You’ll work closely with clinical leaders, Professional Practice teams, and a wide range of stakeholders to advance key initiatives that strengthen patient care.
What you’ll do in this role
You will play a central role in advancing the effectiveness and integration of Nurse Practitioners by:
- Developing and implementing performance metrics that evaluate NP roles across diverse clinical settings, and advising on the most meaningful KPIs.
- Designing and improving data systems that support research, quality improvement, and evaluation initiatives.
- Analyzing and interpreting multi‑source data financial, HR, clinical, and operational and creating data visualizations to support decision‑making.
- Facilitating work groups and stakeholder discussions, conducting surveys, performing process mapping, and preparing reports, briefing notes, and business cases.
- Reviewing and prioritizing project support requests related to NP management and integration, aligning them with strategic priorities.
- Providing technical guidance on data quality, statistical analysis, and best practices for consistent data collection.
- Identifying trends, issues, and impacts related to NP practice standards and performance measures, and preparing recommendations for the Director, Nurse Practitioners.
- Supporting Professional Practice projects, coordinating timelines, deliverables, methodologies, and stakeholder engagement.
- Contributing to strategic planning and change management, including confidential initiatives that may influence workforce planning.

- Five years of recent experience in project coordination or project management support within a complex healthcare environment.

The Project Coordinator, Nurse Practitioners coordinates professional Practice initiatives related to the support and integration of Nurse Practitioners across Fraser Health including developing key performance indicators related to various quality measurements and facilitating input and discussion with a variety of stakeholders. Designs and implements systems and processes that will effectively support research and evaluation initiatives and, in consultation with other Professional Practice staff and clinical leaders, completes research of issues, reviews clinical, financial, human resource and operational data, prepares analysis, and develops business cases, supporting documents, briefing papers, and strategic and tactical reports for submission to Fraser Health leadership and other stakeholders.Responsibilities
- In collaboration with Professional Practice leadership and other stakeholders, develops, recommends and implements a variety of performance metrics related to the Nurse Practitioner role in various clinical settings. Provides advice on effective metric/key performance indicator selection that will produce the most appropriate evaluations.
- Designs and implements processes and procedures for data systems related to research and evaluation protocols.
- Responsible for work activities related to data collection and the production of key performance metrics reports and evaluation measures related to Nurse Practitioner related and other professional practice projects.
- Provides detailed multi-source data analysis, interpretation and advice by compiling and reviewing financial, human resource, clinical and operational data.
- Facilitates and coordinates work groups and discussions with clinical leaders and other stakeholders focusing on Nurse Practitioner implications such as those related to various quality measurements. Develops and conducts surveys with various stakeholders as required; performs analysis, prepares reports, briefing papers, and business cases including recommendations for change.
- Reviews requests project support, such as the development of key performance indicators and process mapping that support the management and integration of Nurse Practitioners across Fraser Health. Prioritizes requests in line with strategic priorities.
- Documents reports on data quality and provides recommendations to resolve data quality and collection issues; provides technical advice to professional practice staff regarding data, statistical analysis and related data support to improve and maintain consistent data quality and collection.
- Identifies current and future impact of practice standards, performance measurements, issues and trends as they relate to Nurse Practitioners; involves stakeholders in review and assessment and service delivery processes; prepares final recommendations to the Director, Nurse Practitioners.
- Supports other professional practice-related projects as required. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to meet project goals and objectives and ensures project deliverables are on target. Coordinates project timeframes, stakeholders, assessment criteria and methodologies, and provides status reports as required.
- Participates in strategic planning support and change management services by assisting the Director, Nurse Practitioners and other leaders on projects that include confidential initiatives that may result in loss of or changes to human resources.
- Participates on internal/external committees and leads/co-leads committees and working groups as required.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in a health field, health sciences/economics, or health related field. Five (5) years recent related experience in project management support and coordination in a complex health environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

- Ability to design processes and systems that are consistent with research and evaluation protocols.
- Knowledge of health care economics and statistics.
- Knowledge and understanding of the health care system and of health care disciplines and their role within health care.
- Proficiency in the use of relevant software applications including database software.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
