Position Overview: Lead, Voice Services, Health Informatics

The Lead, Voice Services, Health Informatics is responsible for managing assigned projects, providing leadership to team members, and applying effective change management strategies. This is a hybrid position, with periodic on-site work expected during phone deployments and when supporting Phone MFPs for user assistance.

• Provide mentorship, support, and system administration for an interoperable solution that integrates clinical and business workflows across Fraser Health’s core clinical systems, as well as regional and provincial initiatives.
• Use your excellent communication skills to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
• Offer consulting support throughout all phases of project development, implementation, and system operations.
• Mentor and guide team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in meeting facilitation, requirements gathering, end-user engagement, and customer service.
• Knowledge of Cisco CUCM telephony and faxing/MFP systems administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform business analysis tasks.
• Administer systems (Windows), including patching, RDP, vSphere, Cisco CUCM, MS Teams, and Session Border Controller.
• Document use cases and workflows.
• Act as a site liaison for project change control.
• Provide support for e-faxing, MFPs (Multi-Function Printers), and telephony (HP Capture and Route, Forward Advantage CDS).
• Conduct device testing and application troubleshooting.
• Bonus: Experience with SQL and Power BI.
• Ability to travel within the Lower Mainland.

Preferred Assets:

• Experience with Health Information Management and Re-Development projects.
• Project management experience in telephony.
• Bonus: Skills in SQL, Power BI, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.
• Knowledge of faxing systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Outlook.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow.
• Business analysis certification and experience.
• ITIL certification.

Location: This is a full-time position available at Central City, Surrey, BC.

Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose and Commitments of Fraser Health including service delivery that is centered around patients/clients/residents and families:

The Lead, Health Informatics is responsible for leading and managing assigned projects, providing leadership to team members and applying appropriate change management strategies as part of a project.  Provides advice, guidance, and direction to an assigned portfolio in the areas of knowledge management, and decision support; in clinical and corporate business areas which includes the development and implementation of application architecture. Provides expertise on enterprise-wide projects, serves as back up to the Portfolio Manager in the area of team leadership.
ResponsibilitiesQualifications

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Health Information Science or Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Five (5) years of recent experience with business and systems analysis including experience as a project manager. Experience with health and corporate information systems.
