Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION

FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for specialists in operational excellence at the senior level motivated to deliver on mandates for its clients in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical sector. The mandate is to lead continuous improvement by deploying Lean and Six Sigma methods, to analyze performance, facilitate Kaizen initiatives and reduce waste without compromising GMP compliance and to train teams and sustain gains. The senior scope is further to define the site continuous improvement roadmap and to mentor intermediate consultants and train internal teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Diagnose operational performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Deploy Lean, Six Sigma, 5S and SMED methods and visual management.
Facilitate Kaizen workshops and continuous improvement initiatives.
Analyze data (OEE, yield, cycle time) and measure gains.
Reduce waste, lead times and costs while preserving GMP compliance.
Train and coach teams in adopting improvement practices.
Support change management and the sustainability of results.
Define the site continuous improvement roadmap.
Mentor intermediate consultants and train internal teams.
Report gains to management and secure the benefits

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (industrial, mechanical, automation, electrical), operations management, or any other related discipline.
Five (05) to ten (10) years of industry experience.
Three (03) to seven (07) years of experience as a Specialist in Operational Excellence.
Sector standards: GMP (Health Canada), FDA 21 CFR 210-211, ICH Q7 to Q10, GAMP 5, ISO 9001.
Tools and systems: MS Office suite, Minitab, Power BI, SAP, MS Project.
Hold one of the following certifications: Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen.
The following are considered assets: Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP, TPM.
Experience in Canadian public or private organizations.
Language: French and English
