POSITION DESCRIPTION

FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for an RTE (Release Train Engineer) motivated to deliver on mandates. The main assignments would be to coordinate the Agile release train teams, facilitate SAFe ceremonies, track progress and dependencies, remove impediments, communicate with stakeholders, support continuous improvement and guide the adoption of Agile at scale.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Facilitate coordination among the Agile release train teams.
  • Prepare and facilitate SAFe ceremonies, including PI Planning and the Scrum of Scrums.
  • Track work progress and dependencies between teams.
  • Identify, escalate and help remove impediments.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and provide visibility on progress.
  • Support continuous improvement and Lean-Agile best practices.
  • Guide teams and management in adopting Agile at scale.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • University degree in computer science, management or any related discipline.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in information technology
  • Eight (08) to fifteen (15) years of experience as an RTE.
  • Experience with one of the following frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, Lean, DSDM, SAFe, Nexus.
  • Experience with one of the following tools: Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence.
  • Hold one of the following certifications: SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE), SAFe Agilist DevOps (SAA), SAFe Architect (ARCH), SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC).
  • Experience in Canadian public or private organizations.
  • Language: French and English
