POSITION DESCRIPTION

FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for Maintenance Engineers at the intermediate level motivated to deliver on mandates for its clients in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical sector. The mandate is to plan and optimize the maintenance of GMP equipment and utilities, to analyze failures, manage the CMMS and calibrations and to preserve the validated state and the reliability of facilities in compliance with GMP and safety rules.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and optimize preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Ensure the reliability and availability of production equipment and GMP utilities.
  • Analyze failures (RCA, FMEA) and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage critical spare parts, calibrations and work orders in the CMMS (SAP PM, Maximo).
  • Assess the impact of interventions on the validated state and manage changes.
  • Draft maintenance procedures and document interventions in accordance with GMP.
  • Supervise technicians and contractors and enforce safety rules.



CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (mechanical, automation, electrical) or any other related discipline.
  • Five (05) to ten (10) years of industry experience.
  • Three (03) to seven (07) years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer.
  • Sector standards: GMP (Health Canada), FDA 21 CFR 210-211, ICH Q7 to Q10, GAMP 5, ISO 9001.
  • Tools and systems: MS Office suite, CMMS (Maximo, SAP PM), AutoCAD, MS Project.
  • Hold one of the following certifications: CMRP, TPM.
  • The following are considered assets: membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), PMP, Six Sigma Green Belt, Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE).
  • Experience in Canadian public or private organizations.
  • Language: French and English
