We are looking for a Supply Planner for a fantastic client in the distribution sector located in Ville St-Laurent.

Your Role:

Under the supervision of the Supply Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels (service rate, turnover, etc.) while ensuring the accuracy of product availability information.

Your Main Responsibilities:

Supply Planning: Generate and analyze supply plans, considering financial and operational impacts.
Sales Forecasting: Maintain sales forecasts based on historical data.
Purchase Planning: Create purchase plans to support the corporate purchasing department.
Analysis and Actions: Analyze supply reports and place orders accordingly.
Inventory Management: Ensure optimal inventory levels in all warehouses for your product portfolio.
Performance Monitoring: Understand factors affecting performance indicators and implement corrective actions.
Parameter Optimization: Maintain and optimize supply parameters for your product portfolio.
Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and marketing agents.
Problem Resolution: Address supply chain issues with relevant stakeholders.
Policy Application: Apply supply chain policies and procedures.

* Hold a bachelor's degree in administration (operations and logistics management or industrial engineering
* Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement and planning in a manufacturing or distribution context*
* Mastery of MRP concepts
* Experience with inventory management and warehousing software (ERP)
* Bilingualism (French and English) both orally and in writing
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Experience related to inventory management in an MRP environment (JDE, AS-400 and Optimiza software) (an asset)
* Knowledge of Access data management software (an asset)
