I'm looking for a Logistics Coordinator - Shipping for my client, a manufacturing company, located in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

Duties:
- Plan the day's shipments with the supervisor;
- Prepare shipping documents (P/L delivery note, customs, shipping bill);
- Plan and contact various carriers;
- Track shipments through to delivery;
- Ensure daily transfers to our US division;
- Perform inventory transactions and generate various reports in the system;
- Establish and analyze transport-related performance indicators on a monthly basis, as required, and implement action plans to improve communication and carrier lead times;
- Act as a key contact with internal customers and carriers;
- Work closely with the production planner to ensure availability of products in inventory;
- Maintain shipping report on a daily basis;
- Assist the shipper with truck loading.

Skills required:

- Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) or Attestation of Collegial Studies (AEC) in logistics and transportation or any other relevant experience;
- Minimum 1 to 3 years' experience in a similar position;
- Experience with a manufacturing management system (ERP) (an important asset);
- Knowledge of US Customs processes;
- Knowledge of CTPAT standards (asset);
- Good knowledge of Excel and Outlook;
- Experience in a manufacturing environment;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Strong customer service skills;
- Spoken and written French and English (intermediate level).
