YOUR POSITION
We are looking to fill the position of Logistics Officer.
My client is :

Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize procedures for centralized shipping and receiving of materials;
Act as contact person between customers and/or suppliers regarding transportation;
Prepare local and international shipping files;
Communicate with assigned customs brokers and provide required documentation;
Set up transportation agreements according to regions to be served;
Negotiate freight rates with carriers;
Communicate and follow up with assigned carriers;
Prepare export documents for orders of systems, parts or containers;
Ensure compliance with customs and other international trade obligations;
Obtain quotations for shipments;
College diploma or attestation in transportation logistics, operations management or other relevant field;
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position;
Knowledge of customs, transport and incoterms processes;
Computer skills (ERP and Microsoft Office);
Valid class 5 driving license;
Experience in forklift driving and overhead crane operation;
Excellent communication skills in French and English;
