We are currently looking for a Logistics Analyst / Inventory Analyst for one of our clients in the maritime transportation industry, located in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield.
As a true inventory “orchestrator”, you will ensure the accuracy and reliability of operational data used for client billing, while contributing to the standardization and automation of inventory processes. You will act as a key link between Operations and Finance.

Key responsibilities
• Monitor receipts, shipments, and cargo transfers
• Collect and validate field data from operations clerks and supervisors
• Manage and control client inventories (adjustments, variances, monthly physical counts)
• Ensure all operational activities are accurately reflected for billing purposes
• Contribute to the standardization and optimization of inventory processes
• Perform ad-hoc analyses (inventory discrepancies, movements, stock levels)
• Work closely with the Finance and Operations teams

Tools & environment
• Inventories currently managed using advanced Excel (pivot tables, SUMIF, VLOOKUP)
• Accounting software and in-house tools
• Upcoming ERP implementation project (experience with SAP, Oracle, Sage, or similar is a strong asset)
Profile we are looking for
• Education in Logistics or equivalent experience
• Experience in inventory management, ideally in a manufacturing, industrial, maritime, or distribution environment
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Bilingual in French and English (international clients)
• Autonomous, proactive, and hands-on profile
• Comfortable in a fast-evolving environment with processes to build and improve
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset

Working conditions
• Salary: $65,000 to $75,000
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Up to 50% remote work after the training period
