Today, I'm pleased to present an excellent career opportunity for a Compliance Officer within a leading company in the maritime and road transport sector, recognized for the strength of its operations and its dynamic, engaging work environment.

Main Responsibilities

Ensure the regulatory compliance and documentation of 80 to 90 partner companies (exclusive brokers and approximately 30-40 external carriers).

Verify and validate drivers' working and driving hours in accordance with Law 430.

Assist with and correct daily logs (hours of service) using the ISAAC platform.

Update and track mandatory training requirements, including hazardous materials, working at heights, and client-specific compliance needs.

Maintain up-to-date driver and carrier files.

Perform administrative support tasks, such as assisting the maintenance supervisor with invoicing.

Communicate regularly with brokers and transportation companies to obtain or correct required documentation.

Desired Profile

Technical Skills
Excellent knowledge of Law 430 (mandatory) and road transport regulations.
Proficiency or ability to quickly learn the following tools:
-ISAAC
-AS/400
-Microsoft Office / 365 Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Good understanding of load securement and hazardous materials handling processes.
Ability to monitor and renew regulatory training for drivers and carriers.

Languages
Fully bilingual in French and English (spoken and written, professional level required).

Experience and Education
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in transport compliance or regulatory documentation.
Experience in a road transport, trucking, or courier company (container experience not required).
No specific degree required - a college diploma (DEC) in administration is considered an asset.
