Your Role

As a Buyer, you'll be at the center of the action! Your mission is to manage purchase orders and bids while ensuring that internal clients receive their products on time - all while building strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners. You'll be the go-to person for handling urgent requests and special requirements with responsiveness and professionalism.

Main Responsibilities

Manage material purchases (inventory and non-stock) to meet client needs, including special orders.

Issue and track purchase orders, correct errors, and verify supplier confirmations.

Resolve delivery issues such as delays, shortages, and non-conformities - you always find a solution!

Handle a high volume of emails and effectively prioritize your actions.

Create and update "warehouse" items and ensure database integrity.

Monitor price increases and communicate changes to relevant teams.

Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and suppliers.

Manage urgent requests, logistics, and purchase price variances.

Correct billing, receiving, and order errors.

Actively contribute to the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) initiatives.

High school diploma required
Certification in Supply Chain, APICS, Operations, or other related field is an asset
Knowledge of industrial products is an asset
Strong and professional communication skills in French and English (international suppliers)
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office required
2-3 years of recent, relevant experience
