I'm currently recruiting for a manufacturing company specializing in the design and fabrication of large custom welded structures for international projects. Read, interpret and work from engineering drawings and fabrication blueprints.
Prepare and organize your work area to maximize efficiency.
Lay out reference points and dimensions for assembly.
Position and tack components prior to final welding.
Assemble and weld complex fabricated structures according to specifications.
Operate overhead cranes to safely handle and position heavy components.
Perform dimensional inspections throughout the fabrication process.
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality custom projects.

Diploma in Welding (or equivalent training).
Valid CWB certifications.
Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial welding and fabrication.
Strong knowledge of welding processes including:
GTAW (TIG)
GMAW (MIG)
FCAW
SMAW
OAW
Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum and other metals.
Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
Detail-oriented with strong workmanship.
Reliable, resourceful and able to work independently.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working under pressure and available for overtime when required.
