Job description :
We are looking for an Industrial Programmer for a manufacturing company (metallurgy and machining) located in Saint-Jérôme. Position 40 hours per week, permanent contract, full-time.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for the following tasks :
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to produce jigs.
- Prepare jigs and set-up conventional and CNC machines according to customer requirements.
- Calculate and dimension tolerances, and adjust machines accordingly
- Design sketches and create manufacturing methods
- Collaborate with production teams on the floor
- Participate in establishing process improvements
- Other related tasks
Your professional skills :
- Rigorous and precise
- Knowledge of progressive dies and measuring tools
- Experience on CNC and conventional machines
Your profile ;
- DEP or technical diploma in machining, tooling
- 2 years' relevant experience
- Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings
- Salary: 55-61k + Equivalent of 3 weeks vacation + RRSP and group insurance paid 100% by employer
