I'm currently recruiting for a technical writer for one of my clients, a retail engineering manufacturing company located in Lachine, for an immediate position. Permanent position - 37.5 hours/week
Votre fonction
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be in charge of the following tasks :
- Write technical documents for each of the company's products
- Write manufacturing methodologies and recipes for each product.
- Draw up BOMs for each new customer order.
- Set up instructions and procedures concerning engineering and R&D standards for their products.
- Review existing procedures and modify them as necessary
- Obtain the necessary technical information from all departments to define work instructions and product documentation.
- Perform quality audits on procedures
- Support production teams to ensure better execution of procedures
- Make suggestions concerning the effectiveness of documentation procedures
- Gather all technical documents concerning the product and classify and archive them at the end of each project.

We're looking for someone who can work autonomously and obtain all the information they need from other departments. Our ideal candidate is pleasant, convincing and structured. He or she is an expert in technical writing and knows how to make his or her point in simple terms.
Your profile
-At least 3 years' experience in a similar position in methods or technical writing
- DEC in technical writing or equivalent experience
-Mastery of Infor systeline
Oral and written comprehension of English, but French-speaking position
-Salary: $70k - $90k depending on experience
